There’s been a theme of loss weaving through many of my client readings lately. For some, it has been hearbreak, or the loss of a loved one, bringing with it a wave of grief that feels insurmountable in its depth. For others, it has been the loss of old, tired beliefs and stories that are no longer serving us.
No matter the form, this loss has not been easy. Loss rarely is. There are tears, doubt, fear, sometimes even rage as we navigate this changing landscape and, at times, it’s felt as if what once was our whole world has slipped through our fingers before we were ready to let go.
Your pain is real. It is valid. And you deserve to hold space for the grief and aching that arise.
At the same time, the cards beg the question, what can you build from this?
In the letting go—be it by choice or not—space has been made for something new. Now, it is your responsibility to consider what to do with the foundations leveled in this loss and how to grow from here.
So what are you building? And, perhaps more importantly, how are you building it? Can you build with intention? With intuition? What about tenderness? Could you, perhaps, build with deep, unconditional love for yourself? Could you build while honoring what you need to feel nourished and fulfilled? How do you center all of this at the heart of what you build next?
The cards ask you to embrace the waves of opportunity and newness, this is true, but it is not a blind rushing ahead they call for. Instead, they ask you to ride these waves with the soft, tender core of your heart leading the way.
Trust your intuition in the days to come. Honor the space your heart needs to heal, and let that glorious, tender soul of yours guide you on. No matter what you build next, remember:
You can do this.
And you are so very loved.

Turns out hosting a Tarot + Tea Party is basically my favorite way to spend an evening. The energy in the room is electrifying, and the messages that come through Spirit are potent. There’s something so powerful about cultivating magic in community, and it amazes me how active and loud the Spirits become in this space as I read Tarot and sip tea with my fellow mystics.
And it appears I’m not the only one who loves the event, so, back by popular demand, we’re making Tarot + Tea Parties a monthly affair! On the last Thursday of every month, we’ll gather at Spirit Rebel in Truckee, CA for a night of sipping tea and reading the Tarot.
During our Tarot + Tea Party, I start by pulling a collective reading looking at the themes, challenges, and blessings of the month ahead. Then, I open the floor to individual questions for those seeking insight from the Tarot. In addition, there will be time to ask any questions you have about how the Tarot works, how I structure my readings, or whatever else comes up for you!
Join us on Thursday, June 27th from 6:30-8:30pm for our next Tarot + Tea event! Individual tickets are priced with a sliding scale, and 6-pack and 12-pack options are available for those who want to save on regular attendence (and score a private reading from yours truly). This is a popular event, so I highly recommend that you register asap to secure your spot. See you there!
The energy of summer can be a lot. Fire and air, grill nights and playing at the beach. There’s a rushing, hyperactive quality to summer that can be so fun, and exhausting at the same time. Then, with this theme of loss hovering around us, we have waves of grief that threaten to pull us under the water.
With all this in mind, the magic I’m offering this week is connection to the element so many of us are currently missing: earth. Here’s a simple ritual of grounding to try this week:
Go for a walk. If you have evergreens in your area, walk near them. If you live in a city, find a park if you can, but even a neighborhood walk will do. Leave the dog at home; put the headphones away; no running errands on this walk or making to-do lists in your head. This is about observing the Earth. Watch how the trees grow: imperceptibly, and yet, always inching higher, their trunk growing thicker, becoming, day by day, even more capable of weathering whatever storm comes next.
During your walk, pick up a stone or pebble that speaks to you. Put this on your altar or keep it in your pocket, letting it serve as a reminder to root down when life is moving too fast.

“Sarah is an incredibly gifted intuitive. I experienced chills throughout my session and every word Sarah said resonated with me. Their gentle, sweet, yet straight forward demeanor spoke to me. They were able to tap into my ancestors’ guidance and brought forth a lot of comfort and clarity that I so deeply needed.”
